Aluminum Ingot, Wire Scrap, Wire & Stranded Conductor Supplier

Aluminum is the lightest metal in our catalogue and the one where grade confusion costs buyers the most. We supply primary ingot in A7, A8 and A9, recovered aluminum wire scrap, drawn industrial aluminum wire, and bare AAC/ACSR stranded conductor for overhead lines — each with the grade and the governing standard written into the documentation, not just into the sales email.

Aluminum Products

Aluminum Ingot — Aluminum supplied by Hubei Ruichuang Metal ProductsMAIN PRODUCT

High Purity Aluminum Ingot (A7, A8, A9)

Professional grade aluminum ingots for remelting, produced via molten salt electrolysis. Available in A7 (99.7% min), A8 (99.8% min), and A9 (99.9% min) purity levels. Meets GB/T1196-2002 national standards. The surface of the ingot is clean and smooth.

Aluminum Products We Supply

Four product lines, all sourced from the same Chinese smelting, drawing and stranding bases, so specifications stay consistent between orders.

  • Aluminum ingot — A7 (99.7% min), A8 (99.8% min) and A9 (99.9% min), 25 kg ingots measuring 810 x 180 x 90 mm, produced to GB/T 1196-2002.
  • Aluminum wire scrap — baled, 99.7% Al minimum, melting point 660.37 C, density 2.702 g/cm3, high recovery rate.
  • Aluminum wire — coiled or spooled, 99.7% min Al, ISO 9001 and RoHS compliant, for electrical and welding applications.
  • Aluminum stranded wire — bare AAC and steel-cored ACSR (JL/G1A, JL/G2A, JL/G3A) from 10 to 630 mm2 in 1070A pure aluminum at 99.7% min, to GB/T 1179 and IEC 60228, on seaworthy reels.

Understanding the A7, A8 and A9 Grade System

Chinese primary aluminum ingot is graded by minimum aluminum content: A7 guarantees 99.7%, A8 guarantees 99.8%, and A9 guarantees 99.9%. The gaps sound trivial and are not. Residual iron and silicon fall as you move up the scale, and that is what determines conductivity, corrosion behaviour, and how the metal behaves in a thin-wall die casting.

For general remelting and ordinary alloying, A7 is sufficient and the most economical choice. Move to A8 or A9 when you are drawing conductor-grade wire, producing high-specification extrusion, or working to a customer standard that names the higher grade. If you are not certain which grade your process actually requires, tell us the downstream product and we will advise rather than simply quoting the cheapest option.

Where Our Aluminum Goes

  • Remelting and secondary alloy production
  • Aluminum conductor and cable manufacture
  • Automotive wheels, castings and lightweight structures
  • Extrusion and architectural profiles
  • Welding wire and MIG applications
  • Packaging, foil and general fabrication
  • Deoxidation in steelmaking

Inspection, Documentation and Certificates

Ingot lots ship with a certificate of analysis confirming the grade against GB/T 1196-2002, produced under an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. As with our copper range, we support buyer-nominated third-party inspection — SGS or BV most commonly — for sampling, weight verification and container sealing before dispatch.

Aluminum wire is supplied with RoHS documentation on request. That matters if your downstream product is destined for the European Union, or for an electronics customer with restricted-substance requirements written into their purchase specification.

Packaging, Shipment and Order Terms

Ingots are stacked and strapped into bundles of roughly one metric tonne and loaded with edge protection so the faces arrive clean. Wire scrap ships baled, aluminum wire ships coiled or spooled and palletised depending on diameter, and stranded conductor is wound on seaworthy reels sized to your site handling equipment.

We quote FOB and CIF from Chinese ports. Send us the destination port, tonnage and grade and we will return a landed figure. Mixed loads that combine ingot and scrap are common, and we are happy to plan one.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between A7, A8 and A9 aluminum ingot?

They are graded by minimum aluminum content: A7 at 99.7%, A8 at 99.8% and A9 at 99.9%. As the grade rises, residual iron and silicon fall, which improves electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance and makes the metal more predictable in thin-wall casting. A7 suits general remelting; A8 and A9 suit conductor-grade and high-specification work.

Is aluminum wire scrap the same as aluminum ingot?

No. Ingot is primary metal cast into standard blocks for remelting, with a guaranteed grade and a certificate of analysis. Wire scrap is recovered material, cleaned and baled, sold on measured purity and recovery rate rather than on a named grade. Both are supplied here, and the right choice depends on whether your process needs a guaranteed analysis or a lower input cost.

Do you supply aluminium as well as aluminum?

Yes. Aluminium is simply the British and international spelling of the same metal, and both spellings are used by buyers searching for the same material. Our grades, specifications and documentation are identical either way.

Can you confirm the iron and silicon content of your ingots?

Yes. The certificate of analysis issued with each lot states the full chemical composition, not only the headline aluminum figure. If your specification sets limits on iron, silicon or other residuals, send us the limits and we will confirm compliance against the lot you are being quoted.

Guides for aluminum buyers

These pages explain the specification questions behind this category — how the grades differ, how purity is verified, and how a delivered price is built up. Read them before you send an enquiry, or forward them to whoever signs off the specification.

Need a quotation for aluminum?

Send us the grade, the tonnage and the destination port. You will get a landed-cost figure, not just a unit price, and you can nominate the inspection agency that releases the lot.
